Practices and Rhythms
When it comes to who you are becoming or who you want to become, it's not about goals, it's about practices. Practices are rhythms and they adapt to your season.
Practices create rituals that deepen relationships. I read my Bible (practice) 99% every morning (ritual) because I want to know more about Jesus Christ. I do no school work (practice) on Saturdays (ritual) because I want to intentionally remember who God is to me and reset my soul in Him.
Yes, I do not call them disciplines, I call them practices because discipleship is more than just "quiet" time and the gospel is not just conversion. Discipleship is becoming Christlike so He must increase and I must decrease.
